XL Group, Headquarters, Zurich
WORKXSPACE carried out a tenant fit-out of 5000 m² for the headquarters of XL Insurance Switzerland Ltd. in the Löwenbräuareal .
Our colleagues in the Move Management department were able to help with the move to the new RiverNest headquarters in Zuchwil, Switzerland. Bouygues Energies & Services was on hand right from the start, helping to plan and design the office spaces for optimum use. We also supported Helion Energy AG to ensure planning and completing the move was as stress-free as possible.
The big day came in mid-September 2022 as Helion Energy AG opened the new RiverNest headquarters in Zuchwil. Some components had to be planned and moved prior to this. Bouygues Energies & Services was able to support Helion Energy AG throughout the entire construction phase – from office planning and completing the fit-out, all the way to planning and implementing the move.
Our WORKXSPACE department oversaw both the fit-out and relocation planning as part of this project, allowing for streamlined, highly flexible communication and coordination channels. The resulting synergy was a huge advantage for the client when it came to making last-minute changes or addressing problems.
Client | Helion Energy AG |
Services | Office planning, construction management, relocation management |
Location | Zuchwil |
Year | July–September 2022 (relocation management) |
The move of 150 employees had to be completed within a very tight window of time. But this wasn’t the only challenge: while the problems in supply chains that we are all experiencing at the moment added pressure to completing the fit-out (including the completion of 135 workstations), the date for the official opening of the new headquarters had already been set.
However, project managers in Move Management are used to these kinds of scheduling challenges – even a total lift malfunction on the first moving day wasn’t enough to stop the team from completing the project on time.
The client could count on the experts at Bouygues Energies & Services to reliably and extensively plan the move beforehand to ensure that disruption to Helion Energy AG employees was kept to the necessary minimum, both in the run up to and during the move. Thanks to our flexibility, we were able to ensure that any unforeseen circumstances and additional last-minute requirements could be taken on board during the move.
We are proud to have been able to support Helion Energy AG with this exciting project and we wish the Helionauts all the best and much success in their new home.
