Swissterminal is the Swiss expert for logistics services related to container terminal turnaround. Today, its five container terminals cover Switzerland’s most important economic areas and, as a result, are an important link to world trade.
Swissterminal is one of our long-standing customers in the field of ICT Services. We support it in operating its network, as well as in the field of telephony with our managed services.
Cisco is used in the network field (LAN and WLAN). Mitel is used in the PBX field (telephony), which connects the headquarters with the four other location and integrates them seamlessly. As a result, Swissterminal can rely on a highly available and secure network in all five locations. The telephony solution is composed of physical and virtual components, which run via the Internet protocol (IP). The soft clients on laptops, smartphones or web apps grant employees mobility and make calling from everywhere possible. Finally, the electrics department renewed the cabling in the heavy-current and optical fibre areas (optical fibre/fibreglass).
