Flims: Stenna development to open

The Stenna Flims development covers an area of about 60 000 m2, which corresponds the area of more than eight football fields. Among other things, this includes residential buildings with a total of 135 holiday flats as well as a main building with a design hotel with 47 rooms, a wellness and fitness centre, cinema, child care and shopping facilities.

 

Multitec with Bouygues Energies & Services InTec

 

The Stenna Flims development is a classic multitec projectsince Bouygues Energies & Services InTec covers various trades: electrics, security & automation, sanitation and the installation of heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems in rental buildings. "At peak times, over 70 Bouygues E&S InTec specialists from various regions and trades worked hand in hand on the Stenna building site. Mastering large construction volumes within a brief period and inter-departmental project coordination are our great strengths," explained Urs Tschalèr, managing director Bouygues E&S InTec region south-east Switzerland. Bouygues E&S InTec began on the work in spring 2015 and will probably complete it in spring 2019.

 

Major building site in Grisons

 

According to the media release, Stenna Flims is the biggest private building site in the Canton Grisons. The development is to be the centrepiece of Flims connecting the two village sections and opening the way to the Grisons mountains. The offering is intended to appeal to the residents, day-trippers, holiday guests, athletes, nature lovers and families. Opening of Stenna Flims will take place in phases from December 2018 to the spring of 2019.
