Bouygues E&S Process Automation Ltd.: An insight into the wastewater business area

The merger of the two companies at the end of 2022 to form "Equans Switzerland" will create a company that, thanks to its size, history and expertise, is in a position to keep pace with and sustainably influence the ongoing digitalization and decarbonization in all areas. The company, which has already been operating under the umbrella brand "Equans Switzerland" for several months, will remain part of the Bouygues Group in the future. Claudio Picech (CEO Equans Switzerland) has been Chairman of the Executive Board since the takeover.
The rebranding process has already started and will continue over the next few months. It is therefore possible that the old logos will still be visible on the market. Furthermore, from July 1, 2024, "Bouygues E&S InTec Schweiz AG" will be renamed "Equans Switzerland AG" and "Bouygues E&S Prozessautomation AG" will be renamed "Equans Switzerland Process Automation AG". However, this has no impact on existing business relationships.
The respective subsidiaries of both companies will also be partially adapted under the new umbrella brand. For example, the Facility Management division (formerly Bouygues Energies & Services Schweiz AG) was renamed "Equans Switzerland Facility Management AG" in January 2024. MIBAG Property Managers and Kummler+Matter EVT AG have been given a new logo. Bouygues E&S EnerTrans AG will become independent as EnerTrans Switzerland AG and will also receive a new logo.
The strategic decision to merge will enable "Equans Switzerland" to expand its service portfolio and respond even better to the needs of its customers. The aim is to further expand its leading position in the areas of building technology, energy supply and efficiency, facility management, smart city, transport infrastructure and digital transformation.

The Swiss company can look back on over 180 years of tradition and history, which makes us all very proud. The coming months will be challenging, but also promising.
