Bouygues E&S Process Automation Ltd.: An insight into the wastewater business area
In this interview, Hanspeter Hunziker provides an insight into his team, which works in the wastewater sector.
The installation work for the new waste incineration plant Giubiasco in Ticino have been completed. Bouygues E&S was involved in the construction via its subsidiaries Kraftanlagen München (KAM) and Bouygues InTec Ticino.
Trial operation ended on 25 February 2010 with the plant being handed over to the cantonal waste disposal company. An official inauguration ceremony was planned for late summer 2010.
KAM was responsible for the planning, delivery and installation of the entire energy section with steam turbine, air condensation system, pipes and components of the water-steam circuit, cooling water system, bulky waste processing and all of the cranes. Bouygues E&S InTec Ticino assumed the planning, delivery and installation of the entire electrical and instrumentation technology system for the monitoring and control of the entire process.
Bouygues E&S Process Automation, Kummler and Matter Mezzovico were likewise heavily involved in the work on this plant section.
